Darija is experienced professional and university assistant professor with a proven track record of working in profit and non-profit organizations in various industries. She is a lecturer at several universities in Croatia and Slovenia and is the host of the Project portfolio management within strategy management, Project Management and Investment Projects courses.
She began intensively dealing with project and process management in 2002, having passed a number of certificates in the field of project management (among others, she holds a certificate – Certified Portfolio Director IPMA Level A, International Project Management Association, 2017, 2022 and Lean SixSigma Black Belt, 2019 Institut for Sixsigma, Vienna, Asustria). She led a number of corporate projects such as concept and implementation of the company’s business strategy, restructuring and company transformation. She developed and established project offices in several organizations as well as project portfolios and was awarded by the IPMA association for Diversity in Project Management in 2018. She is the one of two editors of the guidebook The A.S.P.I. – Agile Sustainability Practices and Innovation, published 2024.
