The Postgraduate Program in Energy Transition Horizon 2030 – Leadership in Decarbonization and Sustainability is an advanced and specialized training program designed to address the current and emerging challenges of the energy transition. This program aims to prepare professionals to lead the energy transition, promoting the implementation of smart and sustainable technologies that contribute to the development of more efficient and ecological cities.
The main objective is to train professionals capable of working with issues related to energy efficiency, decarbonization, intelligent management of energy resources, and effective communication, both internally and externally. Students will be exposed to fundamental concepts and will have the opportunity to apply this knowledge in real-world situations through the development of projects and practical work focused on smart, sustainable, efficient, and ecological solutions.
The program’s approach will be practical and geared towards the implementation of energy solutions by companies, central, local, and regional administrations. The curriculum is designed to ensure that students develop a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced in the energy transition, including technical, political, social, economic, and communicational aspects.

- Emphasize the decarbonization of transport, industry, buildings, and public lighting towards zero carbon emissions.
- To address solutions for the decarbonization of transport, through electric mobility, as well as the introduction of renewable fuels (FAME, HVO, SAF, Biomethane and Hydrogen).
