Do they offer 100% online courses?
Yes. Many of our courses are hybrid or fully online, allowing for flexible study that is compatible with professional life.
How can I apply for a postgraduate program?
You can apply in person at our facilities and/or directly through the website, on the page for the desired course, by clicking on “I want to apply”. The process is simple.
What documents are needed for the application?
The documentation we request is as follows:

Original or certified copy of qualifications certificate

Does the failure to submit all the required documentation at the time of application invalidate the application process?
No. You can proceed without any problem and submit the remaining missing information later.
Is there a candidate selection process?
No. From the moment you fill in your personal information, along with the necessary documentation, formalize your application and make the respective payment, your place is automatically guaranteed.
How will I know if my application has been selected for a specific training course?
Once you fill in your personal information, along with the necessary documentation, formalize your application, and make the corresponding payment, your place is automatically guaranteed. You will then be contacted by email closer to the scheduled start date of the course with more detailed information about it.
How can I pay the application fee?
After completing the application process, click below the shopping cart; you will have several payment options for the respective fee. If you choose the “Multibanco reference” option, please note that it is only valid for 48 hours.
Are there specific application deadlines?
The application is active from the moment the “I want to apply” button is visible on the respective course page. It can remain open until the start date of each course, if there are vacancies. However, if the maximum number of applications is reached, applications for that course will automatically close.
Are there still openings for me to apply for the course in …?
Yes, provided that the “I want to apply” button is visible on the respective course page.
If I apply but do not make the payment, is my place still guaranteed?
No. In order for us to consider your application valid, you must make the corresponding payment. If the maximum number of valid applications is reached, you will be placed on a waiting list in case there are any cancellations.
Is a bachelor's degree required to attend a course?
No. Any student can attend one of our training courses; however, if it is a postgraduate course, the student without a bachelor’s degree will receive a “specialization course” certificate at the end of our training, not a “postgraduate” certificate.
How much does a postgraduate degree cost?
The cost varies depending on the course. You can check the tuition fees on each program’s page.
Can I pay the tuition fee in installments?
Yes. Autónoma Academy allows for payment of tuition fees in installments, for greater financial flexibility. You should check this information on the course page where it is mentioned.
I've already submitted my application and paid for it. What's the next step?
Typically, 1 to 2 weeks before the start of each training course, we send an email to our students with more information related to the course, such as registration payment deadlines, school insurance (if applicable), and other relevant information.
Are there any discounts or special conditions?
Yes. There are special conditions for former students of the Autonomous University of Lisbon (10% discount on tuition fees). We also have several partnerships. Please confirm if the type of partnership includes special conditions for a specific course.

Are the classes in person or online?
It depends on the course. Some are entirely in-person, others hybrid, or 100% online. This information is available on each course’s page.
Are the classes recorded?
No. Students will need to attend the sessions live (synchronous classes).
What are the class times?
The schedules vary from course to course and are designed to fit in with professional life, generally in the evenings/afternoons or on Saturdays. You can confirm the schedule and days of the week the classes take place on the course page.

What platform does Autónoma Academy use for online classes?
The sessions take place via the Microsoft Teams platform. A unique link is created for each edition/course, which will simplify access to the classes throughout the training.
I am a foreign student and I need a statement to obtain a visa. Does Autónoma Academy issue such documents?
Yes, provided the course is not exclusively online. Even so, the student must pay the full course fee (application + registration + school insurance (if applicable) + total tuition fee + declaration document).
