Lawyer, PhD in European Sports Law and Assistant Professor at the Autonomous University of Lisbon (UAL), where he is part of the Ratio Legis Research Centre as an Integrated Researcher. He is the Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Sports Law at UAL and a Visiting Lecturer at the Rio Maior Higher School of Sport and the Football Business Academy. He also serves as an Independent Member of the UEFA Governance and Compliance Committee. Author of several books and scientific articles in the areas of Sports Law and Olympism, he was also Secretary of State for Sport and Youth.
