In today’s networked society, where it is essential for every organization to protect its information, managers and information officers need to have a holistic view of information security, information systems security, and cybersecurity to ensure the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of their organizations’ information.

Ensuring these properties involves applying an integrated set of security controls, namely administrative, physical, technological, and human, which are taught in this course and are designed to prevent, detect, deter, divert, recover from, or respond to potential threats to the organization.

This course thus empowers its students to make their organizations more resilient to threats.

For the convenience and safety of students, classes are taught in person, but remotely through the ZOOM system.
