Executive Order 304/2021, of December 17, amended Executive Order 148/2014, of July 18. These amendments include the refresher course for the training of Security Director with a minimum duration of 60 hours and based on the subjects provided for in paragraphs a), d), e), i), k), n) and o) of paragraph 4 of article 22 of that Executive Order.
The Autonomous University of Lisbon, which has been offering a Postgraduate course in Security Management and Direction since 2012, and has since become a reference in the training of Security Directors and other people responsible for private security, and which has already had more than 20 editions and 700 students, could not fail to also offer a refresher course that is equally excellent due to the program it offers and the specialists who teach it.
For the convenience and safety of students, classes are taught in person, but remotely through the ZOOM system.
The course is aimed primarily at all Security Directors who need to renew their professional card and, in general, at all those who wish to learn or update their knowledge in this area. The course also allows those who intend to attend the Postgraduate Course in Security Management and Direction to anticipate a significant part of this Postgraduate course.

(a) Qualifications obtained at the Autonomous University do not require authentication. In the case of qualifications obtained abroad, in addition to the authentication of the copy(ies) described above, authentication by the Portuguese Embassy or Consulate in the country of origin of the qualification or by the Hague Convention Apostille is required. If the documents are not in Portuguese, they will need to be translated by a translator recognised by the Portuguese diplomatic representation.
The application will only be validated upon payment of the application and submission (within a maximum period of 30 days) of all the requested documentation.
Failure to submit the aforementioned documents will invalidate the registration and prevent students from attending the course.
