The Postgraduate degree in Energy Transition Horizon 2030 – Leadership in Decarbonization and Sustainability is an advanced and specialized training program designed to address the current and emerging challenges of the energy transition. This program aims to prepare professionals to lead the energy transition by promoting the implementation of smart and sustainable technologies that contribute to the development of more efficient and environmentally friendly cities.
The main objective is to train professionals capable of working on issues related to energy efficiency, decarbonization, smart management of energy resources and effective communication, both internally and externally. Students will be exposed to fundamental concepts and will have the opportunity to apply this knowledge in real situations, through the development of projects and practical work focused on smart, sustainable, efficient and environmentally friendly solutions.
The program will have a practical approach and will be oriented towards the implementation of energy solutions by Companies, Central, Local and Regional Administrations. The curriculum is designed to ensure that students develop a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced in the energy transition, including technical, political, social, economic and communicational aspects.
- Provide a comprehensive understanding of energy policies and issues related to the energy transition.
- Develop skills to analyze the main energy vectors and their implications in cities.
- Plan and implement strategies for the energy transition.
- Train technicians from Companies, Central, Local and Regional Administration to communicate effectively on energy transition and sustainability issues, both internally and externally.
- Promote knowledge on climate adaptation and mitigation, energy management, and the implementation of smart technologies.
- Emphasize the decarbonization of transport, industry, buildings and street lighting towards zero carbon.
- Address solutions for the decarbonization of transport, through electric mobility, as well as the introduction of renewable fuels (FAME, HVO, SAF, Biomethane and Hydrogen).
