With an International Doctorate in Financial Economics and Accounting awarded with Extraordinary Distinction, he is a professor in the Department of Financial Economics and Accounting at the University of Extremadura (Faculty of Economics, Finance and Tourism), where he also serves as Quality Coordinator.
Is a lecturer and coordinator of the Emturin2020 Research Group.
Alongside his academic career, he has professional experience managing a sports association and working as a freelancer. He has directed several training programs in entrepreneurship and innovation and has served as technical director of research projects on entrepreneurial activity and SME performance in Extremadura.
He also participates in international research networks such as GEM, GUESSS, and FaedPyme, and is Vice-President of the European Academy of Business Economics and Management (AEDEM) with many published articles in leading journals and academic publishers in Business Administration.
