Holds a PhD in Economics and Business from the University of Extremadura, with a specialization in digital entrepreneurship in the tourism industry. She also completed a master’s in business research and an MBA in Tourism and business, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism.
Has international experience in research, teaching, consulting, and tourism management. Her academic and professional work focuses on digital entrepreneurship, SME transformation, and innovation in the tourism sector.
Over the years, she has combined applied research with practical projects, collaborating with institutions and companies across Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Mexico. She is recognized for her strong skills in multilingual communication, leadership, and digitalization, as well as her background in customer service and hospitality management.
Currently is a researcher at the University of Extremadura as a member of the EMTURIN Research Group, is working on Cluster del Turismo de Extremadura, is part of Cáceres Convention Bureau, and is now Invited Professor in Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre.
